What is Verse?

Verse is a mobile app that allows you to pay and receive payments instantly and free of charge. It works like a digital wallet – All the money you receive is stored in your Verse balance.

You can use Verse to:

• Send money to your friends’ digital wallets
• Transfer money to your bank account (it only takes a couple of seconds)
• Pay your part of the bill when you go out for dinner or drinks with your friends, Share home expenses with your roommates or Give joint birthday gifts, just to name a few.
• Create a group: Groups are a really comfortable tool that you can use to share expenses like subscriptions, work gifts, rent, etc.

How it works?

• Download the verse app
• Register with Verse using your mobile phone number and link the App with your credit/debit card
• To instantly send and request money, enter an amount and tap Send or Request. Select a contact or enter the mobile phone number of your recipient. Add a note that explains the payment or request and confirm the transaction.

You can transfer up to € 1,000 in one year, or € 10,000 if you send them a photo of your ID.

If you pay someone who has not installed Verse on their phone, They’ll receive a text message that includes a link where they can download and install the app and as soon as they’ve registered they’ll see the money in their account.

Verse currently operates in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. This means you can make and receive payments in any of these countries’ legal currency: euros, pounds, Danish krone, Swedish krone, and Polishzlotys.

Your default currency is decided by your phone number’s country code. You can switch currencies every time you make a payment, the current change rate will be applied.
