What is Sorare?
Sorare is a Fantasy Football Game where you can play with official blockchain cards and earn prizes every week. A Blockchain Card represents a professional football player and is tied to a specific football season.
The goal is to identify your future stars, collect cards with their effigy and use them every week to make up your best team and earn rewards.
It is a free promotional game organized to promote the main activity of the Organizer. The game, entitled “SO5”, is based on a virtual tournament that tracks the real performance of players on the field, accessible from a dedicated area on the Website.
- You can assemble your team of 5 Cards (2 Defenders, 2 Midfielders or 2 Attackers) and collect points depending on the performance of players in real life football matches.
- Points are awarded per player composing the Team according to a specified scale and on the basis of data provided by a third party (Opta Sports).
- The winner is the one who composed the Team with the most points.
- A winner is awarded for each Tournament. In some Tournaments, prizes are also awarded to Teams finishing in other positions.
- Your points can allow you to compete in higher divisions, to win better rewards.
- The prizes (amount of Ethers + Cards) for the weekly leagues are announced every Friday in the “SO5 Fantasy” section of the website.
- Sorare allows its Users to buy, transfer, sell or exchange collectible cards, either within the Service or with third parties.
Sorare is funded by the best American and European investment funds, and already has the support of more than 35 clubs which are represented on the platform. New clubs and leagues are added regularly.
